The Security Practice

Issues and reflections of an Information Risk Management group

Conventions

The intention is provide viewpoints and information about the security issues and responses that our Information Risk Management group deals with on a day-to-day basis. We welcome comments and dialog on the issues raised, however, rudeness will not be tolerated.

Given that our employer is PayPal, we must note that

  • we will not respond to customer issues or complaints
    • there are formal PayPal channels to log and track problems
    • any number of opportunities already exist on the Internet to vent about issues you may have with PayPal
  • the views, opinions and comments are entirely those of the individual authors and do not in any way constitute an official PayPal expression

Comments are moderated, purely in the interest of keeping conversations well within the signal as opposed to the noise end of the curve
